"It's a Strange and Beautiful World."

The Mike Feder Show (Sirius XM Left 127)

All the political shows on Sirius XM are called by their host’s name—so this time it’s not narcissism.
I’m on live every Saturday evening from 5-8pm Eastern; In depth interviews with authors, politicians, journalists, experts and activists.
Also, the occasional commentary from your host and, of course,  listener phone calls.
(The call-in number is 866-997-4748)

The Turning Point is my other show on PRN.FM- Thursdays at 1pm Eastern. This show is straight out spontaneous talk; storytelling, sermonizing; spiritual, emotional, and intellectual reflections... Designed to stimulate hair growth, joint flexibility, laughing, and irritation; and, if I’m in the right groove that day, maybe some inspiration…

**Also, please check PRN.FM’s whole schedule. Right now, PRN is filling a respectable amount of the void created when Pacifica fell apart. PRN has some of the best alternative radio, especially political, in the country.

WBAI-FM
There are still some great shows on WBAI--not available anywhere else.
Check out Janet Coleman and David Dozier with Catradio café and also The Next Hour (in my old slot, Sundays at 11:00am), and, also, listen to Max Schmid, Sidney Smith, Robert Knight, Bob Fass, Tom Wisker, et. al. And, of course, there is Democracy Now with Amy Goodman--at 9am each morning.
**Some very good new shows have been added in the last year or two. Gary Null is back weekdays at noon and the 1pm weekday strip is especially good.
The complete schedule is available at www.WBAI.org

Alternet.org
The top site for comprehensive liberal/left/progressive political and cultural writing on the Net. They gather the best of stories from other sites and produce quite a bit of their own original reporting. The best daily updating and reporting on the Occupy movement.

Occupy Wall Street
The new, real American Revolution. From here you can “visit” the other Occupy locations and get live feeds of actions, etc.
My considered opinion: The two partys and their subsidiaries in the corporate media are hopelessly compromised. It’s either the Occupy movement and its ideals and goals, or a total corporate state; i.e., Italian or German-style fascism (and not very far in the future). Check it out, donate, etc...

Radio Darvish

The Tea Party.net

Interested in what The Tea Party is, or thinks it is, or is being told that it is? This is the place. The whole thing is perfectly representative of the sad duping of a whole segment of Americans by total hucksterism—using fear, patriotism and racism to fan any flame it finds for its own profit.
If you feel like getting on their mailing list, and risk getting put on other nutty sites, you’ll really learn what the movement is all about—basically an attempt to make money off people. One day the founder of this “Party” is selling Newt Gingrich, the next day he’s selling gold or insurance—and you have an opportunity to donate to “the cause” about every ten minutes. Somebody’s getting rich but not the poor suckers in this “movement.”
