WBAI-FM
Listen to the few good remnants of a once great radio station. Despite the fools, thugs and bigots who have taken over the place, there are still some great shows on WBAI--not available anywhere else. For instance, Chris Whent who does the unique and beautiful Sunday morning early music show from 9-11am.
In addition, check out Janet Coleman on Mondays at 2:00pm, and listen to Max Schmid, Sidney Smith, Robert Knight, Bob Fass, Tom Wisker, Mario Murillo, Asia-Pacific Forum, Tahrir, Michio Kaku, and The Computer show . And, of course, there is Democracy Now with Amy Goodman--at 9am each morning. (you can get times of shows by checking under their names or show titles on the WBAI website.)
There are other good programs too, but the ones above are those that I can personally recommend.
I strongly encourage listeners to WBAI NOT to subscribe or send any money to the station-- temporarily. The only way to starve out the immoral rats that are running the ship right now is to turn off the money flow. The station will survive without your contributions and one day maybe it will once again be a decent, inspiring place-- to work at and listen to.
